The team at Bush Botanics Australia acknowledges and gives respect to the Traditional owners of this land, past and present, who are the caretakers of the plants and animals, and who have generously shared their immense knowledge of this country. 

Empowered by this knowledge, our aim is to improve social, economic and cultural outcomes for aboriginal australians by developing sustainable, on-country agribusinesses based around native plants traditionally used for medicine and food. Our task has been to identify high value products that can be made from existing resources and to explore the technical solutions to help develop these crops. We are heavily-focused on how to use traditional knowledge to add-value to agricultural products in the marketplace, without compromising the value of the cultural information held by the Traditional Owners.
